I came across an interesting article I wanted to share with regards to retirement security and where we stand as Canadians moving forward. Currently, Canada is ranked #10 in the world when it comes to retirement security, mostly due to these factors:
- Canada has low income inequality
- Retirement planning is a high financial priority to Canadians
- Canadians understand that most retirement savings will be self-funded rather than Government provided
